Tsinandali Koncho&Co
Some places are so tied to a wine that the village and the bottle became one word.
Tsinandali is a village in the Kakheti region of eastern Georgia. For centuries, the white grapes grown there — Rkatsiteli and Mtsvane — have been made into one specific wine. No other grapes. No other village. The PDO status protects exactly this: the name Tsinandali on a label is a guarantee of origin.
Rkatsiteli brings the structure and the mineral backbone. Mtsvane brings the aromatics — floral, fragrant, lifted. Together they make something fresh and light that opens with flowers and finishes clean. 13% alcohol gives it more presence than its lightness suggests.
This is one of Georgia's most classical white wines. The kind that has been on Georgian tables for generations, long before anyone outside the country knew to look for it.
