Koncho Orange

Koncho Orange

Georgia invented amber wine 8,000 years ago. The rest of the world discovered it about twenty years back and called it a trend. Georgians called it Tuesday.

The Koncho collection is Koncho and Co's premium blend series. Where most Georgian wine celebrates a single grape, these wines ask what happens when rare Georgian varieties work together. Koncho Orange is the answer for people just beginning to explore amber and orange wine.

This is the most approachable wine in the amber family. Kisi brings stone fruit and natural richness. Rkatsiteli brings mineral backbone and freshness. Together they make something golden, aromatic, and surprisingly easy to drink. Six months in qvevri buried underground. Wild yeast only. No intervention.

It smells of white cherry, dried apricot, and a whisper of vanilla. The taste is dry, textured, with a softness that classical Georgian amber wines do not always have. Those are bolder, more tannic, more demanding. Koncho Orange is the gentler introduction. The one that makes people say: so this is what orange wine actually is.
