Mtsvivani Kakhuri Koncho&Co
Some grapes almost did not make it. Mtsvivani Kakhuri is an ancient Georgian variety that came close to disappearing entirely. Koncho and Co brought it back. Today it is one of the rarest wines you can find outside Georgia. In California, you will not find it anywhere else.
This is the white expression — pressed immediately, no skin contact, aged in barrel. Light, fresh, and dry. Higher alcohol than you might expect from something this delicate. And then there is the color — a faint blush, almost pink, from the time spent in barrel. Not rosé. Not amber. Something in between that has no category and needs none.
For people who want something genuinely rare on their table. A grape that outlasted empires, now in a glass.
Dry. Light-bodied. Naturally higher alcohol. Slight blush from barrel aging.
