Qvevri Wine Georgia is a California-based importer of authentic Georgian wine, founded by Tatiana and Giorgi.

Georgia is the birthplace of wine. Eight thousand years of unbroken winemaking tradition. Five hundred indigenous grape varieties that exist almost nowhere else on earth. A method so ancient that UNESCO added it to its Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2013. And until very recently, almost none of it was available in the United States.

Tatiana and Giorgi moved from Georgia to California in 2016. The wine they grew up with was nowhere to be found. In 2022, after six years of licenses, logistics, a pandemic, and the kind of persistence that Georgian winemakers would recognize, the first shipment arrived. Giorgi is the strategy and the inspiration. Tatiana is the one who makes it happen every day.

Every wine in the portfolio comes directly from Koncho and Co — a winery in the Kakheti region founded in 1737. Nearly three hundred years of continuous operation. Direct relationship, no middlemen. From their cellar in eastern Georgia to your door in California.

This is not a collection of wines chosen from a catalog. These are wines Tatiana and Giorgi know personally, from a country they come from, made by people they work with directly.
