Kvareli Koncho&Co
Kvareli is named for the town in Kakheti where it is made — a region that has been producing wine for as long as anyone has kept records. This is Saperavi grown in one of Georgia's most celebrated appellations, aged 15 months in oak, and bottled with the kind of confidence that comes from knowing exactly what you have.
The color is deep pomegranate — dark and rich in the glass. The nose opens with black cherry and ripe blackberry, then shifts into something warmer — vanilla, a trace of smoke from the oak. Complex without being complicated. Inviting without being obvious.
On the palate the tannins are fine-grained and elegant. Nothing aggressive. Just structure and length, a wine that fills the glass completely and finishes long and clean.
For people who want a serious Georgian red without having to think too hard about it.
