Koncho Black
Every collection has its own logic. The Koncho collection is Koncho and Co's premium blend series — Georgian grapes working together, rare varieties combined, new conversations between old traditions.
Koncho Black breaks its own rules.
This is the only wine in the Koncho collection that is not a blend. One grape only. Saperavi. Georgia's darkest, boldest, most structured red variety. But made in the style of Kindzmarauli — where cold mountain air stops fermentation naturally before it finishes, leaving the residual sweetness of the grape itself preserved in the wine.
The result is something that should not work as well as it does. The weight and structure of a serious red wine. The natural sweetness and lift of Kindzmarauli. Together they make the deepest, most complex naturally semi-sweet wine in our portfolio. Dark fruit, pomegranate, a richness that coats the glass. Not heavy. Not cloying. Just full of itself in the best possible way.
If Kindzmarauli is where most people begin their Georgian wine journey, Koncho Black is where they arrive after a few years of paying attention.
Naturally semi-sweet. Full-bodied. The premium expression of Saperavi in the Kindzmarauli style.
